Hello all,
Last evening at our monthly meeting, we discussed potential service opportunities for our chapter. I looked in to volunteer opportunities at Heaven's Helpers Soup Cafe (located in Bismarck) and there are several options available. The week of 2/26-3/4 (this is the furthest out we can reserve time slots) there are 6 open slots every day from 4:00pm-5:30pm. If we had more than 6 people interested in volunteering on a given day, I can email Heaven's Helpers to see if they would allow more than 6 people to attend during the 4:00pm-5:30pm time slot. You have to sign up using the Heaven's Helpers website, so if we can get a group consensus on a day during the dates I listed I can sign us up as a group (or email if we have more than 6 people interested).
My ask is this: please reply on this thread if you are interested in volunteering for a shift at Heaven's Helpers and also include which day you would prefer. I will make reservations for the day that the majority of us prefer.
Here is a link to the website in case anyone is interested in learning more-- https://www.soupcafe.org/
Have a great day everyone!
Betsy
